An Outdoor Florida Christmas
This time last year, DBH and I were in the midst of packing and moving to South Florida. There was no time for Holiday decorating indoors or out. Our goal for the New Year was to buy a house and be settled by Christmas 2013. Well, we did it! Warm temperatures and no snow on the Cape made outside Holiday decorating a snap!
Indoor Holiday Happenings
The handmade Santa with the piano key arms found his home in the entryway while the Nutcracker collection was placed up high on a ledge above the sofa. The Mr. Snowman pillow was placed on the sofa to remind us that it's cold up there in the North country so be thankful for the warmth. Decorative greens garnish the oil lamps on the coffee table, and atop the handle of the Specialized Lubrication end table
Outdoor Holiday Happenings
The Holiday Poinsettia plant adds color to the screened in porch while decorative glass ornaments hang from ribbon tied to the hurricane screws above the dining room window. Our front door entry greets Holiday guests with live succulents and greens attached to vintage iron and on a vintage school desk chair.
Wishing you a Blessed and Happy Holiday Season,
Karla
